More than an inch of rain fell around Brevard on Thursday night and early Friday, the day before the show, flooding the Wickham Park Annex grounds. Several members of the MOB mobilized to clear sandy traffic areas to just about bone dry by Friday afternoon. However a squall in the evening filled up puddles all over again. A few stalwart MOB members got to work sweeping away the water as early as 4 a.m. on Saturday morning, and the area was ready by 8 o'clock for the official start of Super Swap activities. Weather on show day improved to partly sunny by late morning after dark threatening clouds earlier. Wind gusts were reported between 15 and 20 mph and higher for the county on Saturday making for a cool and windy day at the park.
